Ambassador

Gert Antsu was born 20 October 1974 in Pärnu. He studied political science at the University of Tartu and continued with studies in Natolin, Poland at the College of Europe. Antsu’s career started in 1997 at the Government Office EU Integration Department EU Secretariat.

From 2004 to 2008 he was the Director for European Union Affairs. From 2008 Antsu was the Deputy Permanent Representative of Estonia to the EU. In 2012 Antsu became the Estonian Ambassador to Belgium. Gert Antsu has also given lectures on the EU at Tallinn, University, Estonian Business School, University of Tartu and Estonian School of Diplomacy.

The Ambassador speaks English, French, Russian, Danish, German and Polish.

Ambassador resides in Kyiv.
