Deputy Secretary General in Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs of Estonia Lauri Luht together with Ambassador of Estonia Annely Kolk met with Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the visit to Kyiv.

They discussed how to strengthen partnership between Estonia and Ukraine and take it to a completely new level — renewing the Memorandum of Cooperation and unlocking new opportunities in digitalization, AI, and cyber to develop joint projects.

“We’re truly glad to take our practical cooperation to the next level. Together, we can shape meaningful use cases for AI, develop resilient digital solutions, and strengthen our joint cyber capabilities,” stated Lauri Luht after the meeting.

Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that Estonia is one of Ukraine’s leading supporters, having already invested over €550 million to strengthen country’s defense capabilities. The country takes a leadership role in many international initiatives supporting Ukraine. Estonia also actively supports numerous international technical assistance projects, including e-services, cybersecurity, and more.
